Calm with Kalaa tested whether our workshop truly has an effect on a student's stress level. Students of the MHS Foundations of Health course were surveyed on a 0-10 scale (0 - very relaxed, 10 - very stressed) before and after the workshop. After conducting a one-sample t for mew, we ended with a virtually p-value; thus our p-evalue is less than the significance value of 0.05. So, we have convincing evidence that Calm with Kalaa helps in reducing cognitive dissonance for the freshman student population at MHS. Limitation - because the workshops conducted were in a required course, we had a non-randomized sample - our results cannot be applied to all freshman in the US.
